Okay so winter is not exactly my favorite season because I prefer the warmer weather. The only thing I use to look forward to in the winter was the holiday season and that was pretty much it. Winter use to feel like the longest season ever and I would spend my days counting down to the very first day of spring.
Surprisingly, this winter hasn’t been so bad. We had a few snow storms in Philly, but nothing major we wasn’t use to. Also the weather has been pretty mild considering it being winter. Temperatures were like in the upper 40’s, 50’s and we even reached a day where it was almost close to 70 degrees!….Hello spring time!
As I’m getting more and more into myself, I have learned to embrace every season, especially winter! Here are a few reasons why I’m embracing winter to the fullest….
I get to be more creative and fashionable. In addition to staying warm and toasty with more layers, I get to also mix and match my outfits. With more clothing, the options are endless. I can play around with my gloves, scarves and beanies while dressing to impress when stepping out in the world.
Comfort foods and drinks are love. One thing you guys should know about me is that I can chow down some hot soup! Especially homemade soups like chicken noodle and tomato soup. I would choose homemade soup over fast food any day. Snowy days call for a cup of happiness hot chocolate with marshmallows and rainy days call for a cup of tea.
Winter is a beautiful scenery season. One thing I look forward to winter is the snow. Snow looks very beautiful when it’s falling to the ground covered in a blanket of pure white. Who doesn’t love playing in the snow? or having a fun snow ball fight with your partner?
