Happy New Year friends! I still can’t believe we are into 2019, and it’s off to a pretty nice start. During the winter season, I love wearing florals for the simple fact that it brings so much life to my outfits. I usually wear a lot of dark clothing during the cold months so I like to add bright pop of colors from the floral pattern. Florals continue to be a popular go-to pattern this season that can basically worn with anything.
For this outfit, I was having a little fun with it by adding the heart sunglasses along with the floral skirt and playful heels. Can we talk about how adorable these heart sunglasses are? They were a big trend last year on the runway. Pssst….American Eagle currently has them on sale for 25% off. My floral skirt I found at a local vintage shop, which I absolutely love because it basically goes with everything.
I’ve learned that some still believe that florals can only be worn in the spring and summer seasons, which is simply not true at all. You can embrace florals in the spring, summer, fall and spring. The different takes on the pattern provides unlimited choices for outfits such as long sleeved dresses, skirts and blouses. This makes it easily to incorporate winter florals in your wardrobe.
