Dress & Sandals: Old Navy
That’s a wrap! I can’t believe another New York Fashion Week season went down in history. In fact, it’s completely done for the 2018 year. If I had to summarize both seasons (February and September) in one word, it would be amazing! The fashion creativity I saw in both seasons were pretty dope and it continues getting better with time. I was invited to many shows this season, but unfortunately I was unable to attend them all due to obligations back at home. I was only able to attend a few shows including Carmen Steffens.
The Carmen Steffens runway collection was powered by Art Hearts Fashion held on Sunday evening at the The Angel Orensanz Foundation in NYC. To be quite honest, I never heard of this brand until I started during my own research. I first looked up the designer on Instagram and learned that it is a Brazilian brand that consists of clothing, shoes and accessories. Carmen Steffens has over 560 stores in 19 countries. I also learned that it is a preferred brand among celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton and Madonna.
As you know, I like to keep it real with you guys. The collection wasn’t really a favorite of mine compared to other shows I’ve attended, but I did have a few favorite pieces from the collection that I could see myself rocking. I love the nautical look of this jumpsuit. I would pair it with something of a bold color to make the outfit pop.
What I love about this dress is the fact that it’s a black dress great for any glam event. I love the embroidery sparkle details and fringes.
I like this look for the simple fact that it has ruffles. I love the light pastel sophisticated look giving off feminine spring-like vibes.
What do you think about the Carmen Steffens collection for Spring/Summer 2019?
