So this weekend, I went crazy at IKEA buying some home decor to make my house look stylish and cozy. I have not shopped there in quite a while so it was kind of exciting for me to see what’s new and to gather up some new ideas for designing my home. In addition, I did pick up some storage space drawers I needed for my closet. I have so many clothes, bags and shoes in my closet that is exceeding the limit of space that I have in my closet, additional space drawers were indeed necessary.
While spending at least a few hours in IKEA, I found so many awesome home decor that would indeed spruce up my house a little. Check out my favorite IKEA things I got over the weekend.
I can’t tell you how much I love this sheepskin accessory for my wooden chair. It gives my old plain wooden chair some style to it. It’s soil-repellent and durable. The only thing is you can’t wash it in the machine, but you can dry clean it on a normal cycle. In person it looks and feels very delicate so I’m not surprised for the delicate caring instructions to keep this beauty looking great.
I always believe in having a stylish home. A creative idea! If you have some old issues of magazines like I do lying around the house, why not hang them over a curtain wire to give your personal space that creativity it needs. The curtain wire set is stainless steel and it comes with the complete set ready to mount on anywhere you wish.
I absolutely love this table lamp! It’s just so fun to look at when your laying back in that relaxing mood. It gives off a soft mood glow. You can get this in all assorted designs and colors, but sadly this particular kind I have with the confetti dots sold out. Here is an alternative, which is the lamp in cherry-blossoms white.
Anyone that loves NYC like I do could definitely invest in this piece of artwork. It looks great in an office space or anywhere in the home. The artwork is printed on a metal surface and it does give that expensive look.

That was such a good idea using the sheepskin rug for your chair. I was thinking about doing the same thing, but it wasn’t going to be soil repellent, so I’m really glad I saw your post. Thanks!!!
I’m so glad my post was helpful. Always happy to help 🙂
