When it came down to fashion this summer, H&M has been on point with all cute and versatile pieces. Especially the dresses, I just couldn’t get enough of how stylish they are. The great thing is that all my purchases were under $40, which is a plus for me because I didn’t have to break the bank. Today, I’m rounding up some of my recent purchases from H&M with a try on haul.
Cotton Tank Top $5.99 and Wide-Cut Shorts $12.99
This is a recent photo I shared on Instagram highlighting I’m not much of a shorts kind of girl, but these are an exception. These shorts are super comfy with its high waist elastic waistband and loose fit. The only minor complaint I have is I wish it had pockets, but other than that it’s the perfect floral shorts for summer. I paired these shorts with a cute little basic cotton tank top. You can beat the price for both pieces for a great summer look.
Black Puff-Sleeved Cotton Dress $14.99 (On sale for $10.99)
I’m so in love with this dress! I can’t tell you how skeptical I was at first before getting this dress because I thought that the puff sleeves would make me look weird. Surprisingly, the puff sleeves look amazing on me. If you’re interested in this dress I do recommend sizing down as it runs big. I’m usually a medium in dresses so I sized down to a small and it fits perfectly. This is that one fun black dress you need to have in your summer wardrobe.
Crêped Maxi Dress $24.99
I love how comfortable this maxi dress feels. The material is thin with two high slits on each side which was something I had to get used to. I can honestly see myself walking around in Paris in this dress once the world opens back up again. The floral pattern looks as if it was hand painted on which is beautiful. Overall, a pretty great dress for the price.
Pink Puff-Sleeved Cotton Dress $19.99
This dress is super cute! I love everything from the pink color to the puff-sleeves. Just like the black puff-sleeved cotton dress I mentioned above, you definitely want to make sure you size down. I wear a medium in dresses so I sized down to a small which is a perfect fit. Every time I wore this dress , I would get so many compliments. It’s a fun dress to wear for summer. This was the dress that always sold out quickly every time it came back in stock. It took me about three tries to order this dress and like the old saying goes third time’s a charm.
Floral Cotton Dress $34.99
First of all let me start out by saying this dress gives me summer garden party vibes. You may remember this dress in another recent blog post: 7 Of My Favorite Lipsticks I Own In Honor of National Lipstick Day.
Crinkled Dress $14.99
The crinkled dress is one of my favorites for summer right now when I need to run some errands or simply just looking for something quick to throw on. I can dress it up or down depending on my mood. I usually just wear it with sandals, crossbody bag, a pair of shades and I’m good to go. It is true to size and it comes in a few pretty colors. A simple summer dress at a great price, you can’t beat it.
