So I remember this time last year before going into lockdown, I was getting ready to attend New York Fashion Week. I can’t believe how time flies. One year later and still looking forward to fashion week, but this season it’s quite different because it’s on a virtual basis. I really do miss attending the physical shows and the social interaction with people involved in the fashion industry. The part I miss the most is the street style fashion. If you been following me for a while, you know that I always capture street style fashion at New York Fashion Week.
Not to worry because I know that I will be able to attend physical shows again safely in the near future. February is a great month for fashion and I was able to search for some great shows that are virtual to check out….
Shows To Attend In February
West New York Fashion TV – February 9, 2021 at 8PM to 9PM
This is the first ever international digital fashion week event. The show will showcase designers and talent collections from all around the world. The great part about this event is that it’s free and can be watched on YouTube. There will be a bigger audience globally so you don’t want to miss this!
GY6 Virtual Fashion Show – February 14, 2021 at 3PM to 4PM
GY6 is a showcase of veteran and military spouse designers, brands and creatives. You can check out the designers from Damien Lee to Charliemadison originals. The virtual show will host a one of a kind fashion experience at home, while spreading the message of unity and love. I RSVP for the show a few days ago and looking forward to attending for sure.
Lan of Fashion Runway Showcase: Cinematic Experience – February 18, 2021 at 11:00AM to 12PM
The runway show is an exclusive of FashionWeekOnline (FWO), which will exhibit the Autumn/Winter 2021 collections by next generation fashion creatives and designers
Impact NYFW– February 20, 2021 at 6PM to 10PM
Impact NYFW is a nonprofit New York Fashion Week event for emerging, sustainable designers to showcase their collections on the runway. The great thing about this show is all tickets proceeds are donated to various organizations and charity each year. The tickets are $35.00 for the virtual general admission.
