After living it up during New York Fashion Week, Philly had their chance to shine for Philly Fashion Week. Even though it has come and gone, I’m still not over the amazing fashions that were presented. I attended the Century 21 Haute Runway Show last Thursday. At the fashion show, the spotlight was focused primarily on Philadelphia-based fashion designer Iris Bonner of These Pink Lips.

If you are unfamiliar with Iris Bonner of These Pink Lips, she is the one that designed Cardi B’s trench coat she rocked during the Amazon Superbowl ad. She also designed similar clothing for Mary J. Blige as well. Check out her interview with Philadelphia Magazine here. During Philly Fashion Week, she presented hand panted bold lettering clothing that were empowering such as phrases saying “Working Woman” and “She’s The Boss”.
