Hey everyone! I hope that you had a great weekend. My weekend was fantastic! I just think it went by extremely too fast. So last week was Philly Fashion Week, which was so many fashion events happening throughout Philly. I wasn’t able to attend all of the events happening throughout the city, but I was able to attend one of the hottest fashion shows in town.
I attended the annual Macy’s Fall Fashion Show hosted by Carson Kressley with a special performance by recording artist Sevyn Streeter. In the show, what you will find is having the opportunity to rock some of the basics we have been rocking every year to transform any outfit. I noticed the hottest trend right now for fall is the short bootie. Macy’s showed us a variety of short bootie looks in their collection from floral to leopard pattern styles.
Another hot trend I noticed was the statement jacket. Perfect for fall because not only that it keeps us warm but its stylish as well. Macy’s showed us some options, such as the embroidered floral jean jacket and the utility jacket.
After the fashion show, R&B recording artist Sevyn Streeter was able to put on an great performance. She indeed brought a lot of excitement and positive energy to the stage, as well as much interaction with the audience. I had a chance to chat with her and I can say that she is one of the sweetest people that you will meet. We were able to take a picture together. Not only I was able to take a picture with Sevyn, but I was also able to take a picture with the host of the fashion show Carson Kressley too!
