Walking into the Son Jung Wan runway show during New York Fashion Week was like seeing my dream closet come to life before my eyes. The 2023 Spring/Summer collection was full of neon greens, electric yellows, sequins, silk, holographic and iridescent coated pieces. Every single piece from the ready to wear collection was such a vibe. If you love fun standout pieces like I do as part of your fashion style, this collection is for you.
I’ve took noticed that most of the female models in the show wore either platforms or high heels. While majority of the male models wore white sandals when strutting the runway. It was giving a reminiscent of the 60’s with the candy cane striped dresses, exaggerated bold colors and playful pattern textures. I’m honored I had the opportunity to view this gorgeous ready to wear Spring/Summer 2023 in person. I’ve always admired Son Jung Wan’s work as a designer for years Everything in the collection was absolutely beautiful and looking forward to seeing what creations are next for the designer.
