Dear Kiki,
Hey Kiki! Everytime I apply lipstick on my mouth, it tends to always look a hot mess because my lips are very noticeably flaky. By my lips being flaky, it’s so impossible to create a smooth finish. Do you have a possible solution to fix this problem?

Hi Mya, sometimes I have that problem too! What you can do is slick your lips with a very thick coat of vaseline petroleum jelly and leave it on for at least 10 minutes. During the 10 minute duration, it gives it a chance to soften any hard flakes of skin. Then cover your index finger with a damp washcloth and gently massage your lips.
What this does is remove the petroleum jelly and the flakes of the dead skin should come off leaving your lips feeling smoother. Then you should be able to apply your lipstick without tag annoying flaking. I hope this was super helpful!
