So I was one of the lucky ones to get my hands on the NYFW beauty edit box a few months ago. Now unfortunately, this box is no longer available since it was during the time of New York Fashion Week back in February. I honestly wasn’t planning on blogging about it; however, I just had to because the products included in this box was just too good not to share. The great news is all of the products that I’m about to share, there will be direct link to everything. So are you ready to get into it? Let’s talk about it….
New York Fashion Week and Visa has teamed up with Rajni Jacques to create a skincare edit beauty box. I received this big box filled with five full-size skincare products all from black women-owned small businesses highlighting the black women-owned brands. Inside included a hydrating body gloss, serum face oil, lip oil, lip scrub and a body glow. I’ve had enough time to try out everything in the box and I must say that I’m in love with every single product.
Oui the People Featherweight Hydrating Body Gloss
Where has this body gloss been all my life? I absolutely am in love with this product for the simple fact that it really helps with my dry skin. During winter, my skin becomes very dry and itchy. After trying out many lotions and body oils, this one is far the best. Ever since I’ve started using it, my skin feels more moisturized and nourished. You know how some products leave your skin oily or sticky? Not this body gloss because it absorbs very quickly while conditioning the skin. It also gives me such a beautiful glow to my complexion, which I’m loving right now. I would highly recommend this product if you have dry skin, this is your miracle product.
Maison Quiquine Truth Serum Face Oil
There’s a reason why this is called “Truth Serum Face oil” because this product is literally the TRUTH! This serum face oil has some incredible benefits, which I’ve noticed for myself. It treats dryness, acne blemishes, dark spots and fine lines all while giving off that glow. What I love about this oil is that it contains some of the best ingredients such as zinc, vitamin C & E, omega 3 and fatty acids. I’ve also noticed that it’s not greasy or heavy like some serums and it’s very lightweight. This is another great product that makes my skin glow beautifully. A little goes a long way and I can see this lasting for a quite while.
If you’re looking for a great lip scrub, this is the one! I’ve only used it twice and have noticed a difference in my lips as they feel more smoother and softer. Look at how beautiful the packaging is inside and out. As soon as I opened it, I was tempted to use it right away. The benefits are amazing as it conditions and exfoliates getting rid of all the dead skin cells. It’s also great for removing lipsticks as well. The lip scrub is very natural and only contains 5 ingredients, which are organic brown sugar, honey, coconut oil, lavender and lemon. The beauty edit box also came with a beautiful lip oil from the same brand Lá Bel which I will talk about below and works great together with this lip scrub.
Range Beauty Bali Full Body Glow
This product works in conjunction with my makeup routine. How I usually apply it is I use a little dab before using my foundation and have noticed a big difference. My skin feels so good and it gives off like a healthy golden shimmer. I’ve also incorporated this into my everyday skincare by applying it into my favorite body lotions and body butters. What I love about this body glow is that it’s very moisturizing without feeling heavy or greasy. I can’t wait to show off my skin during the summer.
Lá Bel Lip Oil
This lip oil is everything! I mean look how beautiful it is! It was created by the same brand that created the gorgeous lip scrub I mentioned above. Both the lip scrub and lip oil work wonderful together. The lip oil moisturizes my lips very well with a gorgeous shine. What I love about this lip oil is that it’s not sticky like some glosses be. Infused with nothing but the best natural ingredients including red rose petals, edible gold flakes, vitamin E, castor and avocado oils.

I can definitely see myself purchasing every single item that was included in the box in the near future.
