Orangeflower & Coconut Body Lotion

Orangeflower & Coconut Body Lotion

So we are officially in the fall season and that means cold weather equals dry skin. Usually during the cold months, sometimes I like to make up my own lotion. The orangeflower & coconut body lotion is one of my  favorite natural DIY lotions to create because of the fact that it’s great in nourishing and soothing for dry skin. The wheatgerm oil is rich in vitamin E, which is an antioxidant that protects the skin cells against premature aging.

What I love about this body lotion is the fact that the ingredients are all natural so you don’t have to worry about anything harmful and there are only 4 ingredients to create this super easy lotion. I usually find all my ingredients at a health food store such as Whole Foods or somewhere similar. So lets get started shall we….

Ingredients:

Directions:

First melt the coconut oil in a heatproof bowl over gently simmering water. Next, stir in the sunflower and wheatgerm oils. Leave it to cool off then add the orangeflower essence fragrance and pour it into a jar. After a few hours, the lotion will solidify after several hours.

Have you ever tried to make your own DIY beauty item? If so what did you create? Also, if you decide to try the orange flower & coconut body lotion, I would love to know your thoughts?
