Hey everyone! I hope that your weekend was as fabulous as mines. The weather was absolutely gorgeous so I can’t complain. Yesterday, I spent some time relaxing at the Spruce Street Harbor Park, which is the beautiful place you will see in the background of the photos in this review post.
I love me a good mascara! Especially one that is created with the best possible ingredients. Then I was recently introduced to the Milk Makeup Ubame Mascara. What I like about this mascara is the fact that it’s formulated without the nasty parabens and sulfates unlike some of other mascara’s on the market. Also, it doesn’t have a strong chemical smell like some of the other mascara’s. The very first thing I noticed about this mascara is the packaging. It looks as if it’s a lip gloss tube instead of it being mascara. Also, it’s super lightweight so you can throw it in your purse or makeup bag and keep it moving.
After getting passed the point of the weird brush shape of the wand, I find that it evened out all of my eyelashes by separating them pretty well. If your looking for it to give you that false lashes effect, then this isn’t the mascara for you. But it will lengthen and define your eyelashes in a beautiful way naturally without making them feel heavy. My eyelashes are naturally short so the mascara really helps to bring out the natural beauty in my lashes and because of the 3 pom-pom wand length, it’s very easy to get inside of the corner of my lashes. So far I experienced no clumping, smudging or flaking as it lasts for me most of the day.
My only issue with this mascara is that it can get a bit messy, especially with the white packaging making it noticeable. My suggestion would be to have a tissue on standby just in case to wipe off any of the extra excess if any. Overall, it’s a good mascara if your looking for something simple for your lashes that will help enhance them. I would definitely recommend trying out this mascara for that reason.
This is the mascara wand, which it really helps to get into your inner lashes.
So this is how my eyelashes turned out after using the mascara. It gave it some length as you can see. I naturally have small eyelashes.
