The packaging is adorable with the honeycomb design
Ruby Ripple (521)
Hey guys! So I’m doing a quick review of the Burt’s Bees lipstick. I posted some photos around my social media rocking this lip color on several occasions and I have been receiving questions about what shade I was wearing and wanted to know more about it. The color I’m wearing is called Ruby Ripple by Burt’s Bees and it contains 100% natural ingredients.
The two highlight main ingredients are moringa oil and raspberry seed oil. Moringa oil serves a purpose of helping to soften and condition skin due to the fatty acids and raspberry seed oil improves the skin elasticity keeping the lips feeling great. In addition to moringa oil and raspberry seed oil, it also has vitamin E.
I was drawn to this lipstick because of it being natural and sometimes these days its hard to come by with all of the lipsticks on the market that is full of harmful chemicals. I actually love the color on my complexion. At first I had to grow on it because I wasn’t use to the bold color shade, but once I started wearing it more, I grown to love the shade. I’m so use to wearing my pink lipstick shades and so this was something different for me.
The packaging is too cute with the honeycomb design and the fact that it’s recyclable is a A+ in my book. When applying the lipstick, it goes on as a creamy and smooth consistency and the pigmentation is nice. The only thing is that it is not a long lasting lipstick as every time I eat, I find myself re-applying it which honestly I don’t mind because it looks fresh each time I apply it. Overall, it’s a pretty hydrating natural lipstick that I would buy again only because of the natural ingredients. I would also love to try the pink shades in the near future.
