Style Chronicles: Polka Dot Fashion

Lately, I’ve been completely into the polka dot fashion trend. I don’t know what it is about polka dots, but it really makes an outfit more chic with the right accessories paired with it. My addiction for this trend started back in the spring and summer seasons when I was finding myself mixing and matching polka dot pieces. I’ve also took noticed to how much fun I was having accessorizing it with bold color bags and variety of jewelry. Sometimes I would wear pearls with polka dots to give my outfit a classic look or dress it up with statement jewelry for a more casual attire.

I had my eye on this particular Old Navy jumpsuit, since early autumn. It’s perfect for the season because of the stylish gold foil polka dots on dark navy. If I wanted, I can choose to dress this jumpsuit up or down depending on where I’m going. I also love how comfortable it feels wearing it. On Black Friday, it went on sale for $15 and I simply couldn’t pass that up.

I’ve been noticing people wearing sleeveless jumpsuits with either heels, sandals or sneakers. I went for something more simple by pairing it with leather boots and added the long coat to give it a more classy look. I don’t know if you guys can see under my long Rapunzel braids, but I’m also rocking detailed black tassel earrings I scored at H&M. The jumpsuit has so many options to jazz it up with depending on your style, its endless.

How would you style polka dot pieces in your outfit?
