Expedition: Fashion From the Extreme

Expedition: Fashion From the Extreme

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I spent the holiday between New York and Philly with the people who are closest to me. So you know how I love attending the fashion exhibits at The Museum at FIT? While in New York, I had the opportunity to check out the Expedition: Fashion From The Extreme gallery. I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite exhibits close to Black Fashion Designers Exhibit that I enjoyed checking out.

The exhibit examines the natural world between the expeditions to the North and South Poles, the depths of the ocean, the highest mountain peaks and outer space. Some of the examples I found there were a lot of arctic-inspired, fashionable clothing that goes back to the 1960’s. Check out some of the photos from the exhibit.
