Happy May 1st guys! Can you believe that we are in May already? I can’t hardly believe it myself. Do you know that it’s actually 51 days until summer? 2017 I remember summer 2016 like it was yesterday. Also tonight is the Met Gala! I’m super hyped up to see who will wear what on the red carpet. Who will be the most memorable this year? Tonight I plan to just whip up my powerful beast green smoothie and lay back enjoying the fashion.
So as a health junkie, I have a fascination with smoothies. Especially one’s I create myself from my own kitchen. Since I don’t eat vegetables everyday from a dinner plate, I like to at least get in some greens at least 2-3 a week. With my crazy schedule, I don’t really don’t have the time to get in my veggies like I should. The most quick way I can make sure that I get in my veggies is just making a green smoothie. Who doesn’t love a smoothie right? Smoothies are so right on time when your on the go and looking for a healthier option without choosing something that isn’t good for you.
I make one delicious green smoothie. The benefits is that it’s definitely a healthier option and it’s great for your beautiful appearance as you are getting a lot of vitamins packed into one drink. Okay so here is how I create it……
- 1/2 cup of green kale
- 1/4 cup of collard greens
- 1/4 cup of mustard greens
- 1/4 cup of fresh baby spinach
- 1/2 cup of frozen unsweetened pineapples
- 1/2 cup of sliced fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup of kent mango
- 1 medium banana
- 1 of cup of Vanilla almond milk
- Mix all the ingredients in the blender and process until it’s smooth.
- Drink up and enjoy!
