Why You Should Add Rose Water To Your Skin Care Routine

Rosewater

I can’t express how much I love rose water for everything. If you are not using rose water as part of your skin care routine then your completely missing out. Okay so let me break it down to why rosewater is perfect for skin care. It’s mildly astringent, as it soothes and rehydrates the skin. It’s refreshing and cooling in the hot summer months as it reduces inflammation.

Rose water makes a great refreshing spray, especially in a stuffy heat of a plane or in the mix of dryness of air-conditioned places. Also it’s so great to set your in makeup. I have also noticed that it really helped with removing my old acne scars and spots on my face. I basically just use the one kind of rose water which is the Heritage Store brand. It smells like a dream come true as it has a light scent. If I run out, I just create my own rose water with just a pack of fresh scented rose petals and 1 cup of Spring water.

So if you have never used rose water before and want to try it but not sure how to use it, here are a few DIY recipes for how to incorporate rose water in your daily skin care routine.
