Hey guys! How was your weekend? I hope it was great! So last week, I received another VoxBox from Influenster called the Rosy VoxBox. I was so happy when I found out that I was on the list to receive this box for the simple fact that there are some pretty cool stuff inside.
Included inside I got the Fancy Feet Ballot Foot Cushions, Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Soft Waves Sea Salt Spray, Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant, PURELL advance naturals Hand Sanitizer, and two selections of Vera Wang Embrace fragrances. Now that you seen what the Rosy VoxBox is all about, lets look into more detail of what I thought of each product.
So I headed out to a formal event this past Saturday evening and had a chance to test them out since I was wearing heels. These cushions work great as they added a little comfort to my high heel as well as extra cushion in the right place. The cushions help you from slipping and sliding out of your heels too. Although the khaki color did get dirty pretty fast when wearing them for a while, I would have prefer the black color instead. Overall, it’s a pretty good product and I could see myself getting these foot cushions when rocking some stylish massive high heels.
I am such a big fan of secret deodorant and have been for a long time. I actually am glad that I was sent this in the VoxBox because this would be my first time trying out the clinical strength line from Secret. This deodorant is such as winner for me because when it comes to deodorant, I am very picky and particular. I like this deodorant for the simple fact that it has a little bit of extra protection and it lasts at least through most of the day. Even when sweating at the gym I still had the protection which was awesome! The scent is not to strong but just right. I’m interested in trying out the other scents they have such as the powder protection or the ooh-la-la lavender scents. I think I found my new deodorant now and forever.
I honestly don’t think this product was made for my natural hair type, but I decided to try out anyway since I received it in the Rosy VoxBox. The first thing I noticed when opening it is that it smells wonderful. So disappointed to report that it did nothing for my hair. It actually dried out my hair and made it worse, which is all good because I was planning to wash it on the day I used it anyway. I wanted to love this spray for the simple fact of the smell, but it was just not working for me. Honestly, I wouldn’t purchase this product for the simple fact that it does not work for my hair type.
We live in a germ infested world and staying clean and sanitized is key! I was impressed to see that it didn’t have that overwhelming alcohol smell that comes with most hand sanitizers as it’s made with plant-based alcohol. It actually has a soft floral scent once it settles into your hands. I like the fact that it has a pump on top and cap so it doesn’t spill or leak into my purse. Overall, I definitely recommend trying this product out if you’re looking for a more natural hand sanitizer.
Vera Wang Embrace Fragrances:
This was my first time trying out any of the Vera Wang fragrances and I must say that I am so in love with both! Especially the periwinkle and iris scent as it reminds me of fresh laundry and vanilla. The green tea and pear blossom I think has more of a floral scent. I think I still prefer the periwinkle and iris fragrance more. I actually loved the periwinkle and iris fragrance so much that I purchased it online at target for about $30. That fragrance will be my choice to wear for the Spring and Summer seasons. Overall, both perfume fragrances are great to add to any collection.
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes, but all the opinions addressed in this post are my own.
